Why I think I deserve an A! For this class I have learned how to communicate in many different ways. I have also learned how to edit things to fit my style and brand. Last semester we created blogs and websites, and this semester I have changed what I original had to fit my style a little better. Website - I have added alot more content mostly in the portfolio  section. I have added alot of drawings , paintings , ceramics , and the videography . I have also updated my resume for others to see under my about me tab. Along with content I have changed the color scheme of some of the header back ground colors to either blue, red, or yellow, to match my brand colors. I have also changed the theme so instead of my name being right in the top middle with the tabs underneath, my name is to the left and the tabs to the right to give it a cleaner look.  Blog - I have also changed my blog theme to better match my website a little more a show my brand colors. I have made many po...

Interactive Resume!

I had a lot of fun making this! Please make sure to click play and click everything! Click here to view it if you cant on my blog.

Branded ThinkLink

I could not find a photo I liked for my branded thinklink so I drew my own! I really liked this idea because it reflects my brand as an artist. I tried to draw things that would relate to the links that I wanted. I linked my website, youtube channe, instagram, linkedin, blog, and my last thinklink. It is a really cool way to get people to click around to places that you are present at online.

Interactive Map

Check out my interactive map of Limestone here! Instead of doing a tour of Limestone itself I did a small tour of my experiences at Limestone.  It was super fun making this and I got to reminisce on old memories at Limestone. Finding music was interesting because you have to find the right sound to match that memory. https://www.thinglink.com/scene/1303088486940672001 OR View it on my website!

Updated Website and Resume

I have changed the style of my website and resume to a more simplified and clean version. I created my resume using canva.com. The style gives more of the school teacher vibe I wanted in my creative resume. Please check them out! I do not have anything in the lesson plan of my website yet, but hopefully I will next semester! I got cut short on my teaching job sadly because of Covid-19.

Class Blog Notes 2-5-20

Tips: Mis-enscene: What is in the frame Nose Room: Leave more space in front of the persons nose than behind. Head Room: Subject does not need alot of head room, use rule of thirds. Its ok to cut off top of head, but not chin. Watch the Hands: Do not let the hands pop in and out of frame because its distracting. Background is important, do not have distracting background. Use fake background if needed. Diffuse your light.

Class Blog Notes 2-18-20

-Its a good idea to shot with the rule of thirds. -Put the most interesting bits on the lines or intersections. _Follow the rule and you will be cool_ -180 degree rule -don't be in both sides of the 180 degree -Know what you're gonna say or who you're interviewing before. -Do not wing it, have questions prepared -Think like a journalist, say more than yes or no, and ask questions that are more than yes or no. Like "And then what happened?" -Subject should speak to you, not the lens. -get rid of lights you cant control -key light is most important because it is the brightest. (up high to the left of camera) -fill light adds light that were in shadow of key light. (down low to the right) -hair light/back light, lights up the back of the subject, to push them out of the background. (In back) -background light adds a halo like affect to subject.

Old Friend- The Walters Music Video

Image
Old Friend by The Walters I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THIS SONG In class we learned how to use Adobe Premier Pro, where we could edit videos. We were then assigned to create a music video. I used free stock videos from Storyblock. I used 10 different videos to create the music video for the song of my choice which was Old Friend by The Walters. I was able to cut the videos to length I wanted, and then connected them using transitions. I put the music over the video and also used a transition at the end of the song to have it fade out.  1.      Portrait of old friends, elderly man and senior women talking and smiling on bench in city park, Dualstock, © 2020 Storyblocks.com https://www.videoblocks.com/video/portrait-of-old-friends-elderly-man-and-senior-women-talking-and-smiling-on-bench-in-city-park-4r09rkz 2.      Group of funny kids playing with block toys indoor. A Tip to The Gullible

Clickbait is everywhere now and can be defined as the making the title of things sometimes not relevant or accurate to the actual information. There are many of people who share post just based on the clickbait title without reading the actual article. That leads to misinformation being spread around. Gullible people are usually the ones believing and spreading this misinformation. So here is a list of tips to the gullible who use the internet.  1. Do not believe everything you read on the internet.   Literally anyone can post articles now and can spread them around. Do not believe any information until you look at the original source and can determine if the author is credible.  2. If the title seems unbelievable, then it most likely is not true.   Clickbait can mean creating a unbelievable title or thumbnail that seems unbelievable just to get people to click on the link. Sometimes the title and thumbnail have nothing to do with the actual content o...

Fake News

There are many websites out there mimicking news websites by posting fake news. One of those websites is nationalreport.net. They have posted a story where Trump paints himself into a corner , stating that he painted himself in the oval office. This is obviously disimformation that is purposely wrong to make someone look bad.

Giant Cats Keep Attacking People In France And Fish Might Be To Blame!

Giant Cats Keep Attacking People In France And Fish Might Be To Blame! The cats in France have seemingly been growing larger and attacking citizens. It is said to be because of the plastic and hormones in the fish they are consuming.  Clickbait is a term referring to online content that attracts people to click on a particular link. It is used very often now as people create crazy titles and thumbnails that are so dramatic it is hard to not click on them. Its even used in media such as popular news websites and journals.
