Class Blog Notes 2-18-20

-Its a good idea to shot with the rule of thirds.
-Put the most interesting bits on the lines or intersections.
_Follow the rule and you will be cool_
-180 degree rule
-don't be in both sides of the 180 degree
-Know what you're gonna say or who you're interviewing before.
-Do not wing it, have questions prepared
-Think like a journalist, say more than yes or no, and ask questions that are more than yes or no. Like "And then what happened?"
-Subject should speak to you, not the lens.
-get rid of lights you cant control
-key light is most important because it is the brightest. (up high to the left of camera)
-fill light adds light that were in shadow of key light. (down low to the right)
-hair light/back light, lights up the back of the subject, to push them out of the background. (In back)
-background light adds a halo like affect to subject.
